Strange nicknames (T&,,,4#41!!)

since the start of S2, I witness more and more players using strange nicknames like shown in the pic below.
New bug or something else?

Strange. First I thought it was a smurf, changing nicks on a daily base. But then, suddenly, more and more players popped up with that strange symbol-number-combination.
I asked one guy in my squad what it was about and he told me "Its a bug"...but I´m not sure about that to be honest.
upon further research I found out it is a bug.
Strange stuff happens to the names like you have seen when the player tries to put an ' in their name.
So instead of Westminster's it shows up with Westminster & T&,,,4#41!! or such.
Sure it's not '(' and ')' as those have ASCII values of 40 and 41 which would explain the odd encoding. Text is sometimes processed like that behind the scenes. Especially using XML.

Ok, interesting. That explains a lot.
Yeah it's just a rendering bug. They are not translating the encoded characters to the screen properly, that's all.
- @W3stminst3r This is because people use strange symbols in their steam nicknames and the game itself is not able to read them. There is an invisible symbol that makes you no names and looks like you are ghost player/hiding your name because you trying to avoid reports and stuff.
