I don’t want to be that guy, but does anyone else see any issue with this ? Smurfing is a part of the game that you can report, but streamers and pros do it all the time, which can cause issues for people in the lower ranks.
I myself am a Diamond level player, and I constantly see the champion squad be level 20 people that look brand new.
It seems like because streamers and pros do it and label it as “challenges”, no one bats an eye.
@Blinded_FaithSmurfing in respawns definition is different than how other games categorize it. In apex players are allowed to own alt accounts and use them. Since their skill level is quite high they quickly advance out of the lower rank lobbies into higher ones quite fast.
Smurfing in respawns eyes is someone who repeatedly creates new accounts to stomp on lower end players. Or a player who purposely tanks their stats to be placed in lower rank lobbies and stay there.

I agree, its a super annoying part of the game but one that i dont see getting fixed anytime soon. It just puts me off ranked tbh, i really hate it nowadays
