Macros is not an advantage it is cheating and leads to negative account actions so lets just get off that horse when comparing platforms and spreading a false advantage.
As for the OP's question yes PC has better movement than Console and that is why console has AA as a balancing mech.
I do agree it would be somewhat better to have a choice of lobbies that one can join:
1. Console only
2. PC only.
3. Roller only
4. MnK only.
5. Full cross-play on or off.
That is aim assist, Aimbot is something entirely different and is cheating.
I did not know that macros are a rule breaker. Shows how much I know about pc or mnk. But I remember watching the odd streamer or two, all playing on pc, and all executing everything at double the speed that I can do. Maybe that's a pro vs. scrub thing, maybe a roller/mnk thing. Don't know. But even basic speed of running and sliding seemed eye-poppingly faster than I can do or anyone else I've ever seen or played with or against. Do they speed up their footage to make it all look more impressive? Then there's the speed of rifling through a death box. Blinding. I just assumed this was all done by setting up multiple key strokes to a single hit. Not sure how else to explain it.

Yup macros are a rule breaker and are listed in the ToS agreement as such, using them will lead to consequences.
When comparing console and PC MnK one has to remember that Consoles are basically all created the same, yes there are minor differences between the Xbox's and PS units. PC's are however not all created the same.
Console players on roller have a limited amount of buttons that can be mapped for actions, I think it is about 15 and then maybe a few more if you add the back paddles. Plus the stupid little sticks for movement and aim.
PC players have various keyboard types, some specifically designed for gaming and just looking at my keyboard I have well over 40+ buttons I can chose to map out plus my 5 mouse buttons, and wheel and the mouse itself provide directional line of sight for movement etc. If you can type 30-40 WPM than that keyboard with mouse is fast for actions, forward movement slide to jump and 360 reverse is easy enough to do quickly and a roller can not do it nearly as fast. Mouse wheel for looting and WASD to be moving back and forth/side to side at the same time.
Depending on the PC Rig setup, keyboard, mouse and monitor, frame rate is no problem for us, we are not stuck at 60.
Also my rig is a gaming rig but at a low to mid price range nothing special, hard core gamers have much better rigs that just work faster and better and the pros can be playing on Rigs that cost quite a bit, 1-3 K, 4-7K, 8-15K and 20K+ and that is without the specialized MnK or monitor/s to go with them.
When I bought my new PC and peripherals my Apex gaming experience got better, more kills more wins and more fun. What do you think that means for the hard core gamer and or pro with a 15,000.00 $ system and skills to go with it.
With all of this in mind it does make sense that there is Aim assist for roller plyers, however I think it would just be best if PC and Console lobbies were at least separated for ranked play. Pubs could still have cross play.
The streamer footage is what it is and normally is not speeded up just to look good.

"Plus the stupid little sticks for movement and aim."
I got a real education from that post, for which I thank you. But the above was what made me laugh out load and reminded me of one of many reasons why I love my xbox. Though you're right that it doesn't always love me back. Good post!- Asmodeus5663 years agoHero+
