The only thing I can think is they dont want pros using it in tournaments at the end game. But it is a bit silly to make a change this big just for that. And honestly the pro tournaments I've seen it done I thought it was quite cool.
As a caustic main I dont like the barrel thing because the best way to penetrate a caustic or wattson controlled house is to throw traps through the windows.

THIS. This change to the Caustic's traps hurt me in my gut- just a bit!
But yeah IDK; Who is jumping on/off ziplines....? I just ride em out. Like an escalator- Like, WHO is walking on the escalator??? Just ride it out fellas, this is no big change for me braddahs.

After playing the last 2 nights the zip line thing isnt that big a deal to me. You can bounce 3 or 4 times, which is plenty.
The caustic rotating trap thing bothers me way more. It seems a bit harder to chuck them through windows.
