Tap Strafe works on ziplines and it is Nasty, Deal with Tap Strafe plz

On Ziplines as long as you don't let go off E, you can Tab Strafe multiple times, change your direction after constantly changing position and when you jump off the Zipline after Tab Strafing gonna be even stronger than Super Zipline Jump. Try it out, but in the end it shouldn't be in the game. But I made this to be like oh yeah I am so good at this game ROFL

I am not that good at Movement, Awful MnK, yet I can do basic Tap Strafe which is not that bad, but advanced Tap Strafe is just plain broken. Yeah, At this point I think, Tab Strafe needs to be dealt with and also Aim Assist should be dealt with. When a dummy like me with damaged fingers, broken MnK and awful reflex can do basic Tap Strafe then good players can do advanced and a huge gap appears between players.

Advanced Tap Strafe is not a movement feature, it is a glitch, watch some Octane Jump pad Tap Strafing and you see what I mean. The Boost you get and that directional change is too much.

  • I tend to take the side of people who say this is a glich, bug, game exploit.

First of all as mentioned here and known in the community you can't do that / as well with a controller. Endless question of should PC experience be the same as console/controller or these two types of players should be separated in the pool given I rather take 40% aim assist and not able to tap strafe on my PC 😉

Second - these super jumps and stuff just make no sense if we try to make the game "real life-like". E.g. you drop from a zipline after 3? quick deattachments yet you can lunch yourself massively in the air using zipline super jump...

The same goes with a super jump ... this ain't a parkour game and even there you don't get a boost for jumping at a certain time while crouching.

Finally as said earlier - most/many people will just create yet another macro for it given these techniques are mainly frames and input related = people physically can't pull it off on a constant basis especially with weaker PCs where FPS fluctuate constantly depending on the place your are on the map, number of people in the spot etc. Again a ground for a battle how to detect macros vs. pure skill, uneaven fighting grounds etc.

Take an example from Quake - rocket/plasma jump, strafe that increases movement speed, and circle jump that is something similar to tap strafe. Everyone knows how to pull them off, it does not require you to have certain hardware and it is close to if not 100% repeatable, in many cases, not even FPS related.

Wallbounce can stay but the rest of the bugs/movement options should be remove in my opinion.
