Tried solo queueing for about 25 games over the weekend in pubs, holy cow. I think out of 25 games, my two teammates did on average about 30 damage each match... it has been bad lately. Worse than I remember. It is almost to the point where I quit playing this game. It just isn't worth the stress and frustration.
@aisthebestletter I had a number of 2 player games in trios. 2nd player quits before we even land.
TWICE I finished 2nd. If only the guy had stuck around... who knows?

@Cheese9Man I'm against leaver penalties.
It's just crap randoms. It happens and it's frustrating.
I quit games when it's clear there is no teamplay at work, people wander off on their own, etc and I get downed. I don't see why I should get penalised for that. This is one of the reasons I don't play ranked due to the junk teammates I end up with sometimes. I get punished for just having enough and clearly no point in staying.
But, at least stick around at the beginning. I mean, at least give it a go right? I don't quit unless there is a reason.

I’ve had a very bad streak in ranked as of late, somehow, being Plat 1 with only 400RP to Diamond, the game thinks it’s best to match me up with Plat 4’s that are dragging their Gold buddy in Plat lobbies.
Had this exact scenario yesterday, they landed frag, and died before I could even land Epicentre, they stayed for the entire game tho, I finished 2nd, so at least they went positive.
@Cheese9Man i can't see an easy solution. It's down to the Apex community and it clearly isn't great. You've got children with zero attention span and others who are just selfish or just don't care. I can't see a cure for that. It's just people.
I am having to teach myself to *not* try and rescue team mates who do something stupid (go off on their own, ping enemy, engage for example). I die trying to save these guys virtually every time. I'm starting to learn to stop doing that. Is that toxic? I don't think so. But it's hard as I want to help even if they are being stupid.
