The Apex Premium+ battle pass not at 50% discount

I play apex legends on a PS5 and have completed the challenges to earn the battle pass for free. However, i would like to upgrade to the premium+ and know that some are receiving a 50% price reduction as they already have the battle pass. i have read that this is just a visual error though when i click on 'purchase' the playstation checkout screen still says £17.99 im just very confused as to why this is happening and hope someone can get back to me for a possible fix.
