I think the bow is a good idea and has the potential to work well in this game. I agree that it’s low level of sound combined with its decently high damage and range make it kind of op, especially in third parties. However, I think a rework would best suit it: I think it should do less damage....a LOT less damage....however it would be cool if it also did bleed damage to players hit and maybe even reveal them for a split second as they are damaged by the bleed effect. This could be a cool mechanic for the game and really help counteract the lack of noise that this weapon has, forcing players to be more strategic with there shots and stop using it like an ar. Since this is a marksman weapon that makes sense. Other changes that could be added to balance this weapon further could be lowering the reload speed, reducing inventories ammo capacity for arrows (like smaller stack sizes), decreasing spawn rates on the ground, and even adding the ability for enemies to take arrows out of their bodies if they have been hit (this last change would go with the bleed effect change that I mentioned above).
@WhoTookCrossfire The bows damage and bullet (arrow) travel is honestly one of the most brain dead dev ideas i've seen in a while, outside of far range this weapon is pretty much a hitscan weapon with how fast the arrows travel and the damage is so high they it could probably rival a kraber in DPS. Your idea of the bleeding seems interesting but i think a good way to mix up the bow would be to have it do a lot less damage then have some of it damage health through the armour. It would bring a very unique level of play that is already there with valk with her tactical (her tactical does a small amount of heath damage through shields) so i think giving the bow this option while massively lowing the damage of this fing thing would solve a lot of the issue with it while also keeping it unique. Its an interestingly fun weapon but how it is now, it needs to either be fixed or it needs to go. (also i agree with OP on the matter of sound, its annoying to get shot at with one of these from far off, all you hear are the arrows hitting you and you have to spend time looking at where they're coming from, sometimes you dont get the luxury of doing so.)

The only issue I have with the bow is it hits a little too hard. I know, that's the point of the weapon but from mid-long range is literally a glorified sniper. Why use an actual sniper when you got a bow, probably would've been in the drop package if it wasn't a new weapon.

I think the bow is absolutely fine snd it’s really not OP.

@KelRiever The bow is overpowered in accurate hands. I'm primarily a sniper on apex, played around 6 games last night with the bow and clocked 2k+ in every game I used it, with low effort on my part (wasn't actively looking for fights).
Now don't get me wrong....I love the weapon but it needs a slight rebalance on its stats.
Damage should remain the same, a slight nerf to arrow velocity is required, and a slight nerf to fire rate or the removal of the tempo hop up entirely.
Honestly speaking the bow concept I threw out a year and a half ago was more balanced than this and i'm no dev lol....crazy stuff.
