Hitting a target on long range will decrease the damage.
A shotgun shell fires multiple pellets towards your target. The further away it is, the farther the pallets spread away from each other, the smaller the impact it will have on your target.
So if anything this game is more accurate than any.
In call of duty you can get shotgun kills by firing from across the map which is highly unrealistic.

@MartenPhilipI’ve been right on top of players with the PK and it still only registers 37-68 damage. The best consistency I’ve had with it is in the 60’s, with rare exceptions of the gun doing 80-100 damage. The majority of the time the gun is doing 37 or less damage.
Assuming 60-70 damage is average. If you’re in close combat against an R-99, prowler, R-301 or flatline you’re going to get dropped first. There is no way you’ll fire off 4 shots from a PK vs any of those guns if they can land their shots.the gun is really only viable in a peak and shoot situation..

ironic, ive hit thousands peacekeeper shots at least over 100 meter with a moving target and done 10-150 damage. then again in close fights did 0 damage sometimes- server netcode is fu***d -thats its. thats why noone has that problem in cod, cuz they have decent servers now

@MartenPhilip except they are not weapons for 2-3m away realistically they can shoot further and do the same. but thats not the point, the point is that even when youre in melee and entire crosshair is on the enemy it sometimes does 7-10 dmg and sometimes 70-100 without reason
