The influence of influencers

Everyone keeps throwing around devs do devs did and what not. But truth be told a dev develops stuff by a decided priority done by the project and/or product team. The developers are to be protected to give proper productivity time as well so there will be communication walls around them, this is to maximize productivity and focus time. For instance Scrum, a popular method used these days (not my particular favorite) has a i call you, don't call me policy for devs, where the scrum master is the communication screener for incoming communication for the team. Most of the priorities are done outside the devs control, sadly. Just needed to be said at some point, I'm tired of my devs getting the heat when they 

I too am very frustrated that they actually use Reddit istead of AHQ, twitter I can understand as its a way of giving messages outside if entire platform is down but not Reddit. In my opinion its a bad habit/trend used by game companies, and its a trend I don't buy into - I use AHQ.
