@damsonwhufndthis I think it depends on what the devs intended purpose was for them. I think it's to sort of buy you a bit of time and they do. But I don't think it's intended to be full proof. Could they be more effective? Sure, but I view them as a last ditch effort to buy your teammates a few second to get the enemy attention and downed.
@DarthValtrexyeah I wish it was few seconds, but it only takes one second to poke barrel through shield or get lucky and despite facing the guy he walks around you and due to latency of the server he avoids the shields
