- @Cro_Pittt It was fun to watch in algs. I'd actually like more of these. Makes characters like newcastle more valuable. Also results in less lucky wins where 6 teams rush to end zone and the team that wins is the one that doesn't get shot at. I enjoy a good end game rush but I'd prefer a variety and the best team actually winning. This is why I'd much prefer a moving final zone.
@hayhor I don't know, with a zone ending totally in the open there's no strategy at all, the only thing you can do is to hope you get the knock first. I'd much rather see 4/5 teams and see step by step what are their calls and actions. Also ever since Caustic got out of meta (although you can still see someone using him) the number of teams in end zone has decreased on average i think.
I agree on the moving zone, but it should be tested in minor tournaments before adopting it for ALGS.
@Cro_Pittt I've had a couple of those, but down to 2 players trying to out creep each other. Wraith can go really low in the water.
How many were left in Your picture.
- @Cro_Pittt I'm not opposed to offered forms of cover all over. I think the real issue with SP zones are because there are so many cannot end here areas due to wildlife and giant mountains. The cannot end here maps I've seen seem to eliminate 80% of the map.
Worlds edge is so much better for comp. SP needs a couple cities on the edges of the map. I love a sky hook ending. @OldTreeCreeper On this pic 2 full teams, with a duo getting eliminated some seconds before because they had no cover, but there was another game with a similar zone and 3 teams still alive.
@hayhor Didn't they change some zones after all the data mining drama too? I've seen strange shifts and even some old dumb zones where the most of it was in the mountain lol.
And that's why most of pros hate playing on SP, too many open areas and too many Prowlers around the map. They should really put Olympus instead of SP imo.
- HappyHourSumwur3 years agoSeasoned Ace@hayhor I like the idea of a moving final end zone. Not that Respawn is listening or cares about this type of feedback in these forums.
I've gotten that one that ends in the open water outside Antenna a few times. It results in a cluster fiesta of tacticals and ultimates. - Kyldenar3 years agoSeasoned Ace@HappyHourSumwur I'd also like to see a mode or option where the ring stops contracting after a certain point (maybe round 3). It gets smaller, but makes part of end game hunting (or avoiding) the remaining teams. Adds another layer of tactical thinking.
I can totally see why that would need to be an option though, as that could really make matches longer (or not, because easily 1/3rd of the roster now is Wall-Hacks). - @Kyldenar Interesting idea. I could see some abuse by people badge farming. Maybe if the mode had no rezing or respawns?
They made that end zone for Castle :D

"I bet zones like this are so fun to play right?"
I know this is just a recon thing, but I have never once in this game found a final close to be fun. Challenging, interesting, frustrating, a lot of things, but never fun. There are things in this game that entertain me, but the final ring is never one of them.
