The Report System in Apex Legends is Broken

Hey everyone,

I wanted to start a discussion about the report system in Apex Legends, because right now, it feels like it's doing more harm than good. EA and Respawn need to either fix it or remove it entirely.

Why Is the Current Report System a Problem?
🚫 False Reports & Abuses – Too many players misuse the report function out of frustration. If you outplay someone, they report you for cheating. If they don't like your playstyle, they report you for griefing. This can lead to innocent players getting flagged or even banned for no reason.

🤖 Automated & Unfair Bans – It seems like a lot of bans are handled automatically with little human review. Once flagged, it’s almost impossible to get a real person to review your case or provide evidence.

🎮 Streamers & High-Level Players Get Targeted – If you’re a high-ranked player or streamer, you’re way more likely to get mass-reported just for being good. The system allows salty players to weaponize reports against others.

🔄 No Transparency – Players don’t even know why they were banned most of the time. There’s no clear explanation or proof provided, making the appeal process feel pointless.

What Needs to Change?
✔️ Stricter Review Process – There should be manual reviews for bans, especially for cheating accusations. EA and Respawn should show proof before banning accounts.

✔️ Better Appeal System – Right now, the appeal process is a joke. Players deserve a fair chance to defend themselves instead of being ignored.

✔️ Remove or Rework Reporting – If Respawn can’t handle reports fairly, then the system should be removed or changed to prevent false bans.

At least give us a monthly ban report...
