WHAT is with the ring moving so far at a time? And no heals? I can see speeding up the games but if you are going to make the ring force us to start off sitting on each others shoulders then give us armor and stuff we need to survive. Constantly running from jump tower to jump tower to outrun a ring just to run into top squads waiting while we are half dead is not fun folks.

The issue with that is that it's always too crowded in the center drop zones.
You gotta admit that if you drop anywhere south of the map like at the tree, and the first ring closes on Skyhook that you're in for a guaranteed death if you don't find a bizarre amount of meds for 3 players. And even if you make it, odds are like 50/50 a team or two is gonna edge guard you when you approach zone. This is made especially bad with Respawns philosophy of weeding out teams based on poor terrain disadvantages at the many many many chokepoints on the map.
Fortnite gives ample time to move into 1st ring, which doesn't shrink as much as Apex and no chokepoints shenanigans either.
It's so much better.
@Deemon_klrThey are aware of it and are working on it. I know they just boosted the damage you take from second ring. It’s absolutely brutal now. You can not get caught in it or your dead. I feel like it went to far, especially with how large the map is and all the choke points. It’s very easy to die because of bumping into other squads as you run for circle. You kill them then get trapped in the ring and are dead due to the storm.
@WingmannedbroYup! I won’t go to Capital City anymore. It’s a death trap and third party central. My friends and I have downed 3+ squads there only to get downed by a 4th. Toss in that I just made platinum, I can’t handle multiple squads in platinum (yet). I can handle multiples in gold though. So if my squad is going to have a chance, we have to drop to lower traffic areas as I work on my game skill to get on par with other platinum players. Lower traffic areas are on the outside of the map most rounds.
The rings pretty easy to read, just look at where the hot drop is, it's always going to be close to a circle edge...from there you just gauge it. >.>
