Nowhere near as adaptable as a wingman or r-301, but too expensive to be treated as a secondary until quite a while in. Meanwhile you can be a close range god in round 1 by pairing an re-45 and an eva-8. The only sniper that does get around this issue of being too situational is the charge rifle.
