Titanfall / Apex Universe MMO. Just hear me out.

Im sure this will go absolutely no where but I cant sit still not voicing it at least somewhere where a person at respawn might see it maybe

Idea for a titanfall/apex legends universe MMOFPS looter shooter with a major focus on speedrunning, cooperative missions, clan activities, gear looting/customization, and pvp matches

the image of the screencap might be a little blurry even when expanded so I will post the text as well

So I have been thinking about this all day after seeing media related to the upcoming destiny 2 expansion (a game I played a lot before titanfall 2)

Respawn have shown with their titanfall 2 campaign that they are more than capable of making engaging, varied, fun, and replayable singleplayer content (which can easily become coop content).
They have a universe they are capable of making multiple games for (as seen with Apex Legends and TF).
They know exactly what good players are looking for in an fps pvp setting.
They know how to make finding and opening boxes fun as well as picking up the loot inside.

I propose to you: [Catchy name of Titanfall MMO looter shooter]

>Every player is a mercenary pilot
>all weapons are projectile as they are in apex as opposed to titanfall making for a higher skill floor and cieling
>PVP is retained in simulated arenas across a FTL internet for pilots played from inside those VR pods. (maps in the style of Glitch and Wargames)
>Player made clans called corps, gangs, or w/e
>PvE content involves visiting planets around the frontier with a matchmade squad or premade one and doing cooperative missions with varied objectives.
>as of right now I dont think open world would be a good idea. would be kinda pointless. looking at you warframe.
>Most missions have a trime trial variation with an All Time, Monthly, and Annual high score posted next to it on mission select screen. Records are held by "squads" of players instead of individual ones.
>Once or twice a year all players who currently have an Annual speed record on a mission get a special piece of cosmetic gear like a patch, ribbon, or w/e. Speedrunners who have multiple All Times would have their highest record for a map chosen as their one entry for that year and their other all time record prizes would go the secondplace runners for those missions.
>a problem with speedrunning in Destiny 2 is that each class has an ENTIRELY different movement mechanic for "double jumping" leading to one a situation where anyone who wants to speedrun has to X class if they want to have hope of making any records.
>this problem is of course solved in titanfall because all pilots have the same basic movement system
>Some missions have a special tag: Temporal Anomaly. The whole mission has the time travel mechanic. Final bosses on these missions would also involve defeating two bosses in the different times leading to cool situations where the safe place to hide from one boss is not safe in another and stuff like that.
>pvp can be accessed either from main menu or from vr pods located in your clan hall (if you want to be more immersed I dunno you might be gay not judging)
>Player clan halls are freighter-esq ships with a navigable interior (a big wallrunning jungle gym centered around some terminals or w/e with functions exclusive to clan halls)
>Clans have tiers. Tiers denote what size of freighter-home-base-thing they are allowed to use. Higher tiers get nicer/bigger freighters. Increasing your player count will raise your clans tier
>So that smaller clans dont get * out of better home base options you will also be able to increase your clan tier by having your clan members perform well in pvp content and pve content like with the time trials.
>the higher tiers of clan halls have a wallrunning race course for where mutliple members can race each other
>the only way to build titans is through your clan hall
>any and all constructed titans will have a discrete but visible clan tag welded into them denoting the clan hall where they were originally constructed. This disuades those players who try to join clans thinking "oh hee hee Ill just join, build what I need, and get out ha ha suckers"
>all players by default are part of the "ADV" clan so they arent * out of building titans, but building titans at the ADV base takes longer which incentivises you to go out and find a clan. Also having a place to * off with your fellow pilot buddies is probably fun.
>Titan personalities arent tied to their "body" and instead operate like BT is shown to in the singpleplayer so you can discover, create, and unlock new titans without losing the charm of your favorite titan AI
>titan abilities are not tied eclusively to weapons and vise versa allowing for not only custom builds, but a wider array of weapons and kits for titans to use. Not sure on how or if titan abilties would be tied to their frame. Perhaps constructed titan chassises would have different passives?
>Endgame PVE content like raidbosses and infinite survival hordes
>have a pilots only raidboss where you and your squad use AT weapons to fight a viper-esq boss over a pit arena and you have to wallride the entire time (rezzing requires a pickup animation like in apex so this would be an indirect way of saying no respawns kid)
>random chests hidden in missions that contain apex legends style loot (weapons, armor (helmets and such), blueprints for titan gear, etc)
>an end of mission chest (possibly with loot varying on a jap-style rating system where damage taken, number of team members downed, etc taken into consideration of a grade from F to S)
>time trial variation end chests include loot exclusive to time trials. So that the scales arent sliding there will be set Bronze, Silver, and Gold times that you want to hit or beat in order to get time trial loot. This is so that the evershrinking time records set by speedrunners dont affect the more casual cooperative time trial looting.
I think you could have more enemies than just human soldier/pilots as shown by the yellow lizzard animal things in the singpleplayer and the giant camel aliens outside the apex legends map. Different planets could have hostile alian fauna.
>different pilot classes with abilities lifted from titanfall 2 and Apex Legends (yeah yeah I know, but caustic is unique at the very least)
>no stim because thats a * ability both for pvp content and especially pve content
>perhaps give every class a grapple as it could make pve time trial stuff a little wonkey. I really want to avoid one singe class being the clear "you must use this class to get good times in time trials" class
>all weapons looted in the wild are visual variations of the guns we have from apex legends and titanfall. Perhaps with higher tier loot having upgrades like apex legends where the overall damage and RoF isnt changed (I know the turbocharger, and skullpiercer change stuff but you know what I mean). a more higher-tier alternator might have upgraded mags with a faster reload or faster ADS speed
>super high tier loot exclusive to endgame pve content may have an important innate change like a wingman with only 3 shots but one shots anyone on a headshot and stuff like that
sorry that the structure of this post kinda degrades at times I just wanted to get this in a note document before I forgot stuff

against I'm certain this will go nowhere, but still wanted to post it somewhere official.
