Titanfall guns in Apex

I haven't played Titanfall 2, and only ever got around to playing the demo version of TF1. I do have TF2, but it is on Origin, and my PC can't push games, but I will eventually get around to playing it.

That being said, I know that Titanfall and Apex share a universe, and that there are some weapons in Apex, that came from TF. I did not, however, realize how MANY of them came from TF! I saw this little clip, comparing their audio between TF and Apex, and thought it was pretty nifty. Figured I'd share, for the ones like me, that just didn't know. I feel like some of them sound more "beefy" on TF

    They sounded beefier, and had hipfire of such ridiculous accuracy that I've almost never seen someone ADS in the several hours of game play I've watched.

    Fun fact:  The Dummies' weapons in the range are actually TF2 weapons.  You can set down a Wattson gen and it'll eat the bullets from the ones using the LStar, which is different than its Apex iteration.

    One of the funniest things I've ever seen in TF2 was a mod in Northstar that gives the Grunts actual Titan weapons.

    @pandareno1999 Haha that's crazy!! I never really paid attention to the Dummies' weapons in there. I'll have to go take a gander.

    I do remember having a blast with the TF1 demo that I played. I like the game, I just never got around to buying it. I'm definitely looking forward to playing TF2. I saw some clips recently, and it looks pretty crazy, with the wall-run plays I've seen. The movement looks nice too, and I've seen some pretty nasty grenade kills on there (love me some grenade kills)

    @dSKyNafinchin It would seem to be only when you activate them. I just took a close look without doing so, and all three have an R-301.

    @dSKyNafinchinTry out Frontier Defense when you do. I love that mode.

    If they added something like that to Apex Legends, I would never touch BR again.

    Edited to Add- The people that complain about the LMGs or about Valk's rockets have never felt the clench of their nethers when in a PvP match and they hear the telltale sound of an SMR...

    @pandareno1999 Oh ok, that makes sense. I can't remember the last time I activated the dummies. I still wish we didn't have to do that weird gimmick, just to activate them

    @dSKyNafinchin It is. You know when you hear that sound that unless they are targeting someone ELSE near you that you are dead.

    Thankfully in Frontier Defense they don't get used against you... often. But I think the grunts can have them in Wave 5 on higher difficulties. I have only tried up to medium so far.

    @Kyldenar I think I'll like Frontier Defense. It sounds like a "Firefight"-type mode, where you battle increasingly difficult waves? I've always enjoyed those modes. Just need to get a computer than can actually run the game! It's in my Origin library, Lol

    @dSKyNafinchin Yep, exactly. Cooperate with 3 other humans playing other pilots, survive 5 waves. At lower difficulties, you get some 're-dos' when you fail a wave. At higher, no re-dos (I think, not actually gone above Medium yet) and the AI gets more aggressive.

    Side note - I am terrified how they define "more agressive" when I have been brutally hunted down by a Titan with a flamethrower just on medium across half the map...

    Like I keep saying, I really wish they would add something like Frontier Defense to Apex so I could stop ruining all your all games in BR...

    @Kyldenar Dope! I can dig it! I would definitely play a wave-based mode on Apex, too. Not sure how they would do the AI though, because the Dummies are uhh... not very skilled at all. I would be interested in it, for sure

    @Kyldenar I didn't realize it was an actual thing in the game in coop. I was talking about modded multiplayer on Northstar client.  They look so damned funny holding those giant weapons.
