This is just an alternative to circle around the inability of the gaming industry to prevent cheaters...
Please give you ideas if you have better ones.
Will not work in every country
Which countries will it work, and which ones will not work?! Be specific pls.
If the majority works, apply it. The ones that don't have it/ or can't gave it, play in other servers.
For example, how do you cater to those who don't have such unique identifications, you cant expect a game that is literally free to go to such lengths. Maybe in competitions that have money on the line, contesters are told to install special software to monitor their computers but for free competitive gaming (ranked)?!!! Too expensive
Only those who want to compete at that level require the "digital ID". And sorry, the excuse of "competitions that have money on the line" have to install special software to monitor their computers, but the nobodies such as ourselves have to deal with dishonesty and cheating?! If it was that simple, they would have that software running in our machines!! The issue is, there are a lot of people against it. They argue invasion of privacy. Even other game industries have placed cheaters in the same server, playing against themselves, and they (cheaters) managed to revert it.
A cell phone has:
- a microphone; a camera; and a finger print (optional). Also, multiple industries have included a authenticator (app), which has the cell phone unique ID.
If the cell phone, has to approve the log in, and is in the same network, it goes a long way to prevent them for progressing.
Besides, my suggestion, could work for all games, not just EA.
What is your solution?! I see nothing being offered. You are just arguing to "better do nothing, cause its expensive". I guess you like the current state of competitive game outside of professional play
