I may be waaay off the mark here (I doubt it) but this sounds like a carry over from the sbmm debacle. What is it with the high tier (i assume thats you, idk) players in this game being so absolutely toxic to those who dont live up to their expectations?
For what it's worth, event or regular, I find myself abandoned by high ranking players SIGNIFICANTLY more than the lower ones. As someone who falls in what I would call the "decidedly average" category (lvl124, 35 s3 wins, 3-4 kill 1k damage per game average) I would much rather be placed in a squad with 2 other players at lvl 50 than in a squad with 20 kill badges and a TTV wraith, for the very simple matter that I'm statistically far less likely to be advised to suffocate on my own genitals when I miss a shot.
If we are going to attribute "skill level" as a persistent issue in Apex, then it's not the low skilled players who are the problem here.
@blkarmphoenixas reference. Im doing about 2k+ damage and 5-10 kills a game. Winning about a third of them. I regress. I suppose my post was “bashing” lower skilled players, especially because I had a handful of games in a row with only one teammate (won several times with just two). Each time it was a low skilled player who left us. But I do agree that traditionally higher skilled players have ditched the team just as often. As far as skill goes. I’m not worried about playing with less skilled teammates, especially in this mode! It’s better then regular match’s with them was my point! Way better! I don’t have to wast time looting and we all get more opportunity to fight! That being said, it’s also easier to identify lower skill players with so much combat time.
Didn’t mean it as a “bash” on skill. Only an observation.
