The last update for Apex Coins in Turkey is unacceptable, We can't buy anything now because of the new prices, I thought you guys will make it less but instead you double the amount???
EA is really just a money suckers...

For those wondering what OP is talking about, EA/Respawn has increased the prices for apex coins in Turkey. Though the new prices are in line with the US/EU prices, Turkey’s average daily wage is lower. The prices are around 70% more now.

If I'm correct, they've done this to avoid players changing their region to buy Apex Coins for cheaper.
There hasn't been an official statement on this as far I'm aware, so the true reasoning is pretty much unknown to us for now.
The part of the playerbase that was doing this was probably really small, so in my personal opinion, this change was really unecessary.
Whilst they might be abusing the system, EA/Respawn would still be getting money, if it were a small part of the playerbase then it wouldn't affect their income either.
I hope they revert it as I know that this can be quite expensive for players in Turkey, I wish them the best and I hope they can enjoy the store again.
Imagine if prices doubled overnight before the event in Europe or America like this. I can't even imagine the reaction if something like this happens for them. They would never dare to do such a thing. But they didn't hesitate to do it for Turkey. It's like saying we don't care about the players in Turkey, we don't care about them. Even if we say that this is a kind of racism-like situation, we may not be exaggerating. I understand that players in other countries finds a way and buys cheap Apex Coins in Turkish lira. But if so, it's not understandable to double the prices instead of finding a way to prevent it. This is no different than saying 'we don't care about you' outright. Disrespectful and distrustful. Big disappoint 😞

Dear EA,
After you ruined our Apex Coins Prices in Turkey , I would like to Inform you that nobody can purchase any Apex Coins not just because of that insane amount you want but the Apex Coins are not available in Turkish PlayStation store, It's not just me.
All PlayStation players in Turkey can't purchase Apex Coins in Turkey for this two reasons.
- @k0nek1 That’s odd. Did you try the search function of the app or even going into the ps store of the ps4? Or buy through the game?
Yes I tried it on ps4 store and even in the game they said unavailable, I searched in Turkish games stores and nothing appears , I have photos but I can't attach it because it's "too large".
Pretty sure Pav does not handle issues related to the Apex Store.
Whilst he might work on the in-game UI, the store is a whole other matter managed by other groups, so probably not in his expertise.
Especially the items on other stores (Microsoft, Playstation) can be handled by the company themselves instead of EA/Respawn.
Not sure, though If I could get official confirmation on this then that would be swell.
