Two Types of Watson's Fence Placement Bugs
As you can see from the photo,
there’s been a long-standing bug where the acute angles don’t connect when forming a triangle like this.
There’s also a common bug with fence placement during door-to-door combat.
I’m sorry I didn’t manage to take a photo of that, but I’ll explain it in words.
Placing a fence next to a door to prevent enemies from entering is a basic technique for Watsons.
When an enemy approaches the nodes placed to the left and right of the door, the goal is to extend one of those nodes to form a V-shape and trap the enemy against the fence.
However, when trying to form this V-shape, even though there’s no cover, the fence’s path and the node turn red, and in that split second, I get taken down by the enemy every single time.
.
From the enemy’s perspective, Watson is standing defenselessly in front of the door without her weapon drawn, so they can instantly empty a magazine on her with an R99 or similar weapon.
Of course, this V-shaped fence is also a technique I frequently use when facing enemies on open ground, so I’d like to see it fixed so that I can deploy it reliably and accurately when there’s no cover.
These two bugs have been occurring for at least three years, but I was finally able to come here today to report them.
I strongly hope that we’ll be able to use Watson’s fence with confidence.
By the way, I play on a PS4.
