Community AdminHow on earth is hiding "toxic" ?? XD BR is a survival game: running, hiding and avoiding fights are huge parts of the game.
If hiding all the way to win the game seems like the best tactic - then sure go ahead and do it. The fact is, hiding in a terrible position is simply gambling. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If hiding becomes effective, then so does seeking out the hiders, especially ones that are easy to take out hiding in generally bad spots.
You're completely ignoring the "seek" part in a hide and seek game. And if everyone is ignoring that? Well, hide away!
Apex predator is one who can seek anyone (doesn't mean he should be forced to do that, though). The lesser game have to hide sometimes.
Hide and seek is of course not the whole game, but it IS a huge part of it. If some1 is hunting, some1 has to be the hunted too. Fighting back if you're the prey is usually not a wise decision.
The main game is about correctly assessing when you're the hunter and when you're the prey. If some1 feels like they're ALWAYS the prey, well I guess they always hide. Part of the game too. A rabbit can still put up a mean fight when cornered though.
So we want unlimited kill points, for rewarding what is most fun and discouraging campers. But we also don't want half the server to die in skulltown before the first circle, the games were stupid back then.
The new changes is in the right direction, but they need do more like this, to discourage camping to a skill level which is not equal to their shooting level.
