Valk / Flight

Ok so we had a new character come out some time ago with capabilities that no one asked for

Who new that the character would be game-breaking? Yes game breaking, I said it.

Shoot at you? fly away. Team in trouble? fly away. Pubs, get high ground quick, get shot, fall off, mess up, just push a button again to get back where you were.....a joke really.

Even the ALGS was a total disgrace. Teams shamelessly abusing said character and flying up during the final ring and quickly shooting everyone in the back when you silently fall down after getting out of the fight initially. To me, that is not a win. That is a shortcut. 0 Skill required. That is a cheap trick....and no pro player showed any respect to the sport of competitive fps by raising a concern. Everyone just went with the flow? Shows what they know.

To me, this character is beyond redemption. No matter what you do, nothing will beat flight. No nerf will fix it. There is a reason for things to start flying as games become more difficult, with Apex it's a given. People trying to be the next "insert youtuber here" to show they can be just as "good". A joke really. Grow up.

I now only play Apex to grief such players and kill them and wipe their memory from the server, and it's getting boring tbh. Aside from running away when cornered, and spamming your rockets when someone gets close, the majority of you are pretty meh tbh. Sorry, but not sorry. 

You all are supporting a mechanic that's terrible for competitive fps, if that ever meant anything.

I would see 70% of you break against the rocks of competitive games like CSGO without your flying character, please wake up.

    @reconzero Well said sir, mostly agree, take my upvote. You know what, I actually won't even mind her being OP, if I didn't have her on my team like 70% of the time and seem to face teams with her in them roughly the same. It seems like at this point you need her otherwise you are at a disadvantage. Moneymaker or not, I don't believe that's good for a game in the long run. Many ways to make money and this just seems lazy tbh. And I'm just so sick of her stupid arrogant voice lines by now too. Annoyingly obnoxious character. It's like with the complaints we see with Seer. I don't like him, but I don't experience him as being a problem at all as I hardly ever run into him.

    If someone doesn’t think that Valk is the most important and strongest legend in the game right now then I’m sorry you’re probably in rookie lobbies. I 100% agree with some of the people here that said by not picking Valk, you’re putting your team at a disadvantage. There’s a reason why everyone is using her in the ALGS. Can’t even count how many times the bubble + Valk strat saved our team from a sticky sticky situation. 

    I am 100% certain that the devs are aware of how strong she is because they tweet about it. The real question is why aren’t they nerfing her? I don’t think the is reason is for monetary gain but rather they’re just slow like with everything. I remember that they announced that to just simply make Rampart’s wall rise faster, it took them 2 seasons. 

    Valk’s ult cooldown should be as long as Gibby’s ult CD so that you would be using it in every fight. Same with Seer’s ult. I don’t think she’s a hopeless case and can be easily nerfed with cooldowns and limiting the fuel on her passive.
