Apex news “historian” here. Respawn did have 1 instance of a skin refund for everyone. Two years ago, during the Chaos Theory collection event (Caustic’s own event where he got nerfed to the ground), a lot of people bought the Electric Blue Wattson skin. It had a white overall color theme but the white color was just a bug. When it was it fixed, it’s now blue. People got mad of course asking for refunds.
A rare Respawn W happened where they issued refunds to everyone who bought the skin PLUS gave the skin away for free.
