Warning!! 80fps on a gtx1050ti are NOT the same as 80fps on gtx1060!!
To all gamers out there,I tested all of my first person shooters. The conclusion is that the fps that we see in the top left corner of our screen is some kind of average.
Even in games that my gtx1050ti had a steady "consistent" 80fps, the animation was A LOT worse than my new gtx1060(at 80fps). On gtx1050ti it says 80fps but it feels like 50fps. The only exception were (older) games that my gtx1050ti could play with over 100fps+. Those were fine.
So the fps that games show is probably some kind of average. For example, if gtx 1050ti shows 80fps , half of the frames are "fast" and half of them are really slow and the average is 80fps.While with gtx1060 all 80frames are fast/proper.
Before these cards I had a gtx780 which had identical performance with the gtx1060.(unfortunately it stopped working, but at least now I can have a better picture about cards and their performance...and I can help others too)
Yes, videos on you tube are right showing gtx1050ti having 80-90fps in some games, yes the number on the top left is "consistent"(it doesnt drop) but it feels like you are playing with 50fps, not 80fps.
