Wattson buff idea- Simple but needed

Only make Watson’s fences deploy when enemies get too close, maybe 15-30 meters(I’m not good with distance in apex).
Also make her fences hide again when they walk out of the set distance.

These really would help with the stealth issues people seem to have with her fences and sorry if this idea has already been said.

@TheDaylightD I think you're under estimating your ability to set them up quickly. People put too much focus on the fences being perfect. They don't need to be.. They just need to slow down the enemy, whether it's them focusing on shooting the fence down or getting zapped. The fences are not clunky and slow like Caustics traps. They are almost instant when you want to throw them down so it really boils down to how quickly you can move.

You can deploy the fences extremely fast. Practice speed with setting up the fences and I think you'll see what I'm talking about. Even when you don't have enemies in the area.. Practice throwing fences down on a door as quickly as possible.. You can pick them up again so you're not wasting them..

@TheDaylightD Ooo a Loba main!! I just had one of you annoy thee heck out of me in a match! It was funny and some of the best in game trolling I have had to deal with in a while.

Entire match some Loba was following my squad.. We'd kill an enemy squad and some Loba squad was stealing loot from the death boxes. I saw 2 death boxes go from Gold to purple before my eyes.. No idea what they got. I'd go looking for them and nope could not find em.

They tailed us all the way up to top 2 then third partied us for the win.. With loot they stole from us!! LOL
  • @TheDaylightD I have actually thought about this after I started playing Valorant last season. There is this character Cypher who is also a defensive legend and he has these tripwires that are invisible from >10-15 m. When you are closer than 10-15 m you hear a buzzing sound and tripwires is visible albeit a bit translucent. They also stun and reveal position of enemy but that's not necessary xD

Besides seeing Wattson fences from far isn't that necessary tbh. This seems like a good change, but doubt if devs will implement something like this. Wattson has good trio win rate and encounter win rate.
