Can wattson have a buff where it tells you if a enemy shield is being charged of her ultimate

If they add this feature I'll shoot down the interceptor towers every time i see one. I'm just trying to picture where this would be useful. I could see it in certain rare situations. I'm also trying to think of whether or not this would make Wattson to strong. the interceptor tower already does quite a bit for team, protects from nades, protects from Gibi, Bang and caustic ults. Plus it gives a tad bit more shields which can mean the difference in some fights. Toss in being able to use it to locate enemies for you..

If wattson needs a buff. She should be immune to other Watson's fences. As she wears "insulated gear".

@Sir_Named Yes. Can confirm. Wattson main here. Two circles show up after placing the pylon. The "inner circle", one closest to the pylon lets you throw equipment. The "outer circle", charges your shields.

Ok.I'm back, here's what I did. Test 1: Throwing grenades outside of the affected zone.When I was close to the pylon, I tossed a thermite clearly outside of where the pylon should affect. The thermite landed like normal.I went further away from the pylon, and tossed a thermite in the same area, thermite landed like normal.This shows that it doesn't matter where you are, you can throw a grenade anywhere outside the zone.Test 2: Throwing a grenade straight up.Stood next to the pylon, tossed a grenade straight up. On the way up, nothing happened, but on the way down it was vaporized.Stood further away from the pylon, (still within it's zone) and tossed a grenade up. Nothing on the way up, but vaporized on the way down. This shows that it doesn't matter where you throw a grenade from, if it lands within the affected area it will be destroyed. While testing, I did see the two rings. While the outer ring is definitely to show the area the pylon affects, I have no clue what the inside ring does.

@GH0STEDbyME Stand closer to the interceptor tower. When the interceptor tower is placed you can see 2 circles. If you’re inside of the inner circle you can still throw nades.

@DarthValtrex It's sometimes a bit annoying that it destroys your throwables. The amount of times I've forgotten and tried to silence people only to see it get deactivated and fall to the ground xD

She definitely needs a little buff. And i really like your idea.
I think she's quite good already, I think I'd like to see either increased difficulty in removing her fences, or mayhe a little quicker shield generation, either from her interceptor, or when using shields in its range or something.
I generally hink her fences can often be too easy to shoot out - or not enough locations that allow you to place them in such manner. You can shoot them out from behind most doors or entrances.

I agree about that. Her fences are too easy to break. It seems like everything takes them out with ease.

@DarthValtrex Are you sure about the circle thing? I'm fairly certain that it's not how the Pylons work, at least currently.
Patch notes from December 03, 2019:
The Pylon is now significantly more aggressive in the way it shoots down grenades. Rather than just identifying between incoming and outgoing projectiles, it now predicts the trajectory of grenades thrown within the interception zone and intercepts them if they will land anywhere within that zone. This means that no grenade can contact any surface within the interception zone regardless of the team, but players can fire grenades outwards from anywhere within the zone

@ColdHours I think you can throw from anywhere though, like the patch notes say. I'll try this out in Firing Range, though, but those are the patch notes. (Also, I've seen that inner circle.)

"... but players can fire grenades outwards from anywhere within the zone." The zone is the entire area covered by Wattson's pylon, in case you were wondering.

I'll try this out though, so I'll be back.
