To be solo mode, dev can't simply change from 3 players/team to 1 player/team.
They have to redesign, rebuild, recode, test the legends to be suitable to solo mode. If you're coming from game developer world, you know this's is a significant effort. Could take at least 6 months to properly create it.
If they finally create one after investing in a big effort, time & money, will this mode give more advantage?
1. Give uniqueness compared to other BR that make Fortnite player play Apex? Might be yes/might be no.
2. Give significantly more players? Probably yes but not sure how many more, 5%, 10% or 20% more?
3. Give more revenue? Not sure how.
The most important answer is an answer to Q#3. If you know how, tell Respawn, then they will build it if the money is there.

Some legends passive need to be modified for solo:
1. Lifeline passive : Combat Medic
2. Mirage passive : Encore.
Do you have idea what would be a great passive for them?

Good point. Knock shields other than gold would be useless. Would they be left in?
Wraiths portal would be a lil awkward but still useful I guess
People would prolly use around 4 characters 95% of the time as well
The specialty of this games characters would make solos awkward to be sure
It will be enough to give the legends a chance - only one of course - to revive themselves once they've been downed: respawn beacons can be a good idea imo, just add more of them to the map, not necessarily a crazy number so can even happen that once i'm down i don't find an operative beacon.
In this way Lifeline and Mirage passive can still be used.
Of course we need a solution for the knockdown shields; once you've been killed there is no chance to come back in game, unless somebody decide to add this option, but i think that a good one can be a shield (the same option for all the players) with more resistance, 500 let's say; in this case you can hope that your opponent will be 3rd partied while he's trying to finish you, and hide. Of course if you die you loose the game.
This are just basic examples; we do not need complicated features, just something different.
I believe that this is a way to keep either passives, knockdown shields and beacons usefull.

No solo mode planned for now so you will have to wait untill season 3 or more to get it.
I bet the solo mod will be the same legend for everybody so you don't have to balance the game again.

Wow you didnt even read my original post and if you did then you clearly didnt understand the point of it which is even worse

They do not need to be modified for solos
Lifelines has two passives fast item use is still very useful in solo
Mirage passive is useless no matter what solos squads doesnt matter. He needs a rework period not one for solo mode
