@lBreathTakingl you don't need sniper scope to use scout.
That's how I roll. I prefer the G7 without a traditional sniper scope and use it more like a hemlock on single shot. Like @7cyanide said the iron sights are really difficult (at least for me) but once there's a 2X on there I'm happy enough. If you can manage to land 3-4 shots in a row you're going to come out on top at medium to long range engagements. Keep your distance!
The Alternator feels good. If you don't have the attachments and hop up it's not going to be a great weapon end game. I either hold onto the hop up until I can swap out a weapon for the Alternator once coming across it or avoid picking it up at all (unless it's right after the drop).

Would any of you actually consider the G7 to be a "sniper" in its current state though? It really lacks both the range and damage to fit this category.
I'm by no means against this weapon but i mean if i'm taking a sniper role its last on my list of priorities, even the triple take is more effective as its got the range.
- 7 years ago@MandatoryIDtag I never use the G7 as a sniper. I use it as a midrange weapon which you CAN bring to a sniper fight in a pinch, but to win vs someone with an actual sniper rifle you've got to be significantly better than them.

@Anlbrd exactly my point bro, it's falsely classified lol. Trouble is, if its given a damage buff it then becomes heavily overpowered due to its mid range effectiveness. Its a catch 22 really. ☹️
- 7 years ago@MandatoryIDtag The G7 is a Marksman rifle.

I mean - I'll take a buff because I love the G7 and it being OP and always used doesn't change my game too much : but it'll change it for everyone else. It really, REALLY doesn't need a buff :S It's strong enough
