Weapon/Legend Skins

Question

I'm curious how people select their active skins. For me, I usually set my "favorites" to rotate randomly, for weapons and Legends. One of my buddies always selects one skin for each, and the other one uses favorites like I do. I just enjoy getting to see the different skins that I have unlocked. Seeing the same one over and over gets boring to me, so I like it rotating. I even have favorites set for the load screens. Music packs would be my only exception. I cant remember which one it is, but I leave it set on one that I really liked, from way back in the early seasons.

Let's make it easy, and use the "Me Too" and "XP" as a sort of polling system. Click "Me Too" if you rotate favorites like I do, or click "XP" if you stick to one that you prefer over the rest. Also, feel free to post a response if you'd like to be more in-depth about your preference. I'm sure some of the iron-sights might influence some choices

What's the general consensus amongst my fellow forumers?

@dSKyNafinchinFrom the 14 Gibby legendary skins that I have, I usually have 4 skins randomized that are not red. You’ll be surprised how many Gibby skins where he’s red which is a free digi threat for the enemies. LOL. As for the other legends, all of their legendaries are randomized and the BP legendary skins are excluded since everyone has them.

Guns - If it has a reactive skin, that’s the permanent skin except for the wingman. I exclude bulky skins then the rest are randomized.

Loading screens - If it’s a new season, the wallpapers should also be the set of screens from this season. If there’s an event, the event loading screen will be used. So right now I’m using the free anniversary loading screens from the event tracker. I also do this for my avatar in the AHQ. Since it’s the anniversary event, I’m using the Gibby anniv skin. Lol.

Music Pack - It’s always this one! It gets me hyped up before the match.

@dSKyNafinchin I rotate favorites for skins and weapons, occasionally I will set an active if it’s a new one I just got that I want to play with a lot. Music packs and load screens are set to random so I can see/hear things I forget about and just to keep it fresh.

@dSKyNafinchin Skins are usually set to a few favorites unless there is one skin I like above all others. Valks blue and yellow is one of them. The flatline slayers lancer is another. Music I keep to the original score.

I don't really fit one or the other of the criteria lol

@Cheese9Man I only use 3 reactive skins- wingman, pk and volt.

@Cheese9Man Well dang, I didn't even think about the red skins! I think I have a BH skin that is nearly entirely red. I'll have to go back and check my favorites. That's a great point!

I definitely have all of the reactive skins in my favorites rotation. I cant remember the Wingman reactive skin, because I don't use that gun very often. Is it a bulky one?

That's actually a good idea for the load screens, to mix it up. I've been looking at the same 8 for a very long time, Lmao. I'll have to check which music pack I use. That Fuze one is pretty dope!! Not sure if I've actually listened to it before now
