What happened to Mnk players

I feel like the last of the Mohican on the game lately. I usually look at my death recap and who killed me and over the past few season I feel like controller has just become the majority. Did everyone switch inputs? I just rarely see mnk anymore. Is aim assist just that good that people are switching? That just seems insane to me. Curious if others have noticed this https://9apps.ooo/ .

  • There are many reasons for this.

    1. The influx of controller users has increased.
    2. MnK users have left (due to problems with cheater and am assist, etc.)
    3. The number of Cheaters disguised as controllers using programs such as Xim has increased.
  • @ashoklelaThe game encourages you to switch to a Controller is the issue.

All my friends that felt fairly comfortable with either input, they usually end up on a Roller because it was easier to be consistent. That's what we're seeing even at the Pro level. Aim assist is meant to even things out a bit, not for Controllers to compete with, or even dominate Mice.

The levels of Aim Assist in games these days would have been considered soft Aimbots like 10 years ago. People just have accepted it I guess... I don't get it myself.

    MnK players are still there.

Me and me premade sqd are all Mnk players, till the end.

Roller and MnK players, I think I get killed more by the other MnK players than the rollers.

Usually I get killed by the team that has the kill leader on it and they usually are also MnK players.

Its the lazy, "everything immediately to me" mentality within the current player base.
Instant juice required. No-one wants to spend time anymore to get better. And too many have too serious competitive mindset about the game.
"I can only enjoy the game if I am the best"
99,9% of the players will never get anything else besides a pixel badge reward of their grinding.

Reality check would be good. Its okay to be bad/average as long as you are having fun. Or if you really really want to be good you need to put in the work.

Triple MnK team won the last ALGS. MnK player Zero is in the talks about the best player in Apex at the moment with top 3 in the kills in previous ALGS LAN.

Personally I am happy about my S21: 6 wins 0.7 KD and Gold 3 after 80 ranked matches on MnK.
I have good games and bad games. I have enjoyable games and when I dont enjoy the games given to me I stop playing.

MM has worked for me because of this and I've had more good games this season than in the past.

You cut that to the chase and the basic understanding of gaming for 99% of the players.

You should be having fun and that is all that counts.

The other 1% it is their job, hopefully fun as well.
