What is considered an average player on this game?

An average player is the ones you squad up with randomly. they say nothing. at all but the moment you choose "their" main. they do one of the following. rage quit, Attempt to throw the match by flying into the harvester's beam, banshee scream, vocally judge everything you do with "their" legend.
There are to many factors in play to really have a metric here. There is to much RNG at the beginning of matches.

So now average is bad? This just shows how toxic the "top tier" is, making it the worst playerbase for Apex š
Flatline with anvil is a high capacity wingman and has replaced snipers for me. Put a 2x on a flatline and it rips. Paired with a 99... š¤¤
- @hayhor Hm dunno on win% because it depends.
If I'm squaded we usually win like 4 in a row fairly easily breeze through games unless silly.
Used to carry players easily, now it's too difficult to take out 3 high level squaded players on your own.
If the majority of the time with randoms you're the player with the most kills and damage, then I'd imagine you're at least average or a "good" average.
I guess could also argue all that matters is wins. Might be a bad shooter, poorly skilled, not get many kills or do much damage, but if you somehow convert that into wins. - @hayhor My stats are probably average. But I fee like itās because of the people I play with frequently. 1 is extremely good and kills everything before I have a chance to do much. The other Iām not sure what the problem is. But Iām starting to not like playing with him. Heās always the last alive and Iām always the first to die.

I feel like I am average but compared to many on here I am š©right, I too would be looking at k/d ratio to answer your question. but I am uncertain of how to qualify the numbers. Isn't a k/d of 1 the TRUE expression for an "average" player, in the true center between winning and losing fire fights? behavior in the field is included in that number, sticking with your team and helping it will improve your k/d rate, fighting alone and doing nothing for your team will worsen it.
another indicator would be competitive rank. at least in other games : ) ... i.e. in Overwatch, you have those diagrams showing where your rank is located.

I think if possible seeing how many times someone makes top 3 or top 2.
Lost so many last 3/2 last night because of over eager squadmates who just run in to the middle of nothing and get slapped, or just kinda wander about and let one team loot the 3rd team and then pick advantage location.
- @Wingmannedbro I get that that's your opinion but I'm not meaning just one specific loadout, of course you could also take something like the PK or L-Star, but from what I read I'm trying to help him out with the weapons he's already mentioned being moderately skilled. and I don't mean any of this with offense. oh, and, the Wingman? I wouldn't COMPLETELY recommend it but it is good if you're running something like an SMG
