i was around 1.1 - 1.2, but currently i'm at .96, been playing less as we have pressure at work lately. and the few games I play they suck really.
You know what sucks about SBMM?
KDR’s mean nothing now. There are medium skilled players that have similar or better KDRs than high skilled players simply because the high skilled players are getting dumped on by other high skilled players.
Actually, if SBMM worked like it really intended to, everyone (except those very top players) would hover around a 1 KDR.
If i play with randoms and have 1.3 kd then
Am i a good player
Surely it's about winning, and not KDR?
Mine is 0.23 but I have 23 season 5 wins and if I survive the first minute I nearly always place top 5.
I play Bloodhound because his passive can really help the more kill-hungry players find enemies. I also prefer to stay back and snipe, knocking 70 damage a time off enemies so my TMs can go in and finish them off. Get me a Kraber or any sniper with an IF scope and it's top 3, minimum. Most of my wins have been secured like this - I usually end up with 0 kills but 600-ish damage.
I don't have the reflexes or mental skills to perform the gymnastics that some of you can do 🙂

Im struggling to maintain my 1.01, but also I don't play at a high level. It's not like there's heavy competition that's bringing my kdr down
- @EdwardDLuffy Winning and damage mean more to me than kills. With the way the kill system is it can be quite misleading.
Mines currently sitting at 2.43 overall and 2.32 season 5 , which i presumed isn’t that great ? What is actually considered a good kd ?
1.42K games played 0.74. Have a lot of poor games in a row. Then the odd good ones but not consistently enough to push up my KDR lol.
@hayhor Wdym with the way the kill system is?
What I understand so far: there's more frustration for players that are above 1 in K/D. So this ratio is a good frustration indicator 🙂.
- @GH0STEDbyME I mean that you can deal 150 damage to a player and still be shooting them but if your teammate hits the bullet that knocks them, they get the kill.
Dont get me wrong, it has to be that way but to me damage and effective damage means more. It is also possible to inflate damage through sniping without actually getting kills. I headshot 4 people earlier with a kraber but didnt get one kill as we were surrounded on each side so we couldn't push out to get the kills.
