The only way to get packs is by shelling out the cash. You don’t get any past lvl 100. So the only progression in game past lvl 100 is pay walled. This is the reason I for one will not spend a dime on packs. I’ll buy the terribly trash season pass cause I love the game and support these devs. But this is starting to stink of an EA money grab and I’m not cool with it. I mean at least other F2P games have some sort of super grindy route you can take if necessary. But this game is literally holding anyone down that doesn’t have extra money to throw at the game. Not cool.
the content with the pass is very underwhelming. the upgraded version does not give you more content
it's seamingly a bogo deal though. you get 1k Apex Coin by season pass level 97 and presumably the next season will be the same price.... hopefully
Underwhelming is an understatement. The point of a battle pass is to give people the chance to unlock unique things that are wanted. Not god awful skins that most people don't want. My guess is they didn't want to put in the work to make flashy, good looking, skins for legends and weapons because they want those things in the store. That's okay. It just means I'll avoid every battle pass. The only cool-ish thing is the havoc skin and I rarely pick that weapon up, only touch it if a turbocharger is nearby. Not paying any amount of money to grind for a level 100 to unlock one thing.
