What's your internet speed?
Just a general question to anyone who plays, I'm curious what you guys have.
I'll kick things off by saying...I probably have the slowest speed here. Just tested via Ookla's speed test to get an accurate number: 4.91 Mbps download, 0.83 Mbps upload, 43ms ping.
And yes, that's as good as it gets for me, and usually is much worse, especially in game with constant lag spikes. On most days, the download speed is well below that 4 and usually hovers around 2 or 3 if I'm lucky, but I've had the download speed drop below 1 Mbps at times. Average ping in game is around 70-80ms, and can easily jump past 100-120ms if things get bad (had it in the 1000s before, no joke...). I'd upgrade, but I literally can't and my ISP is legit surprised when I tell them where I live because they don't have coverage in my area...which makes absolutely no sense to me, but I guess I'm lucky to even have any internet, even if it is the slowest.
And before anyone asks, yes, this is via a wired DSL connection, not wi-fi. I have wi-fi as an option, and it honestly doesn't make much of a difference which one I use.
