Who came up with the new BR ranked RP system?
Really?! I mean really?!
Biggest problems in ranked so far:
people don't teamwork, hotdrop or spread to run into 1 vs multiple and die, leaving more sensable players alone or at best in a team...

@Eshshshss Why in your example of next season are you removing the placement points? I expect they are still there as tad mentioned.
@Eshshshss I think you miss understand/miss read the patch note.
There're only 2 changes in rank system:
1. Maximum kill from 6 to 7 (Good thing).
2. Change from 10 RP/kill-assist to dynamic RP/kill-assist based on enemy rank as shown below.
Everything else stay the same.
That means you can get more RP overall (if you kill 7 enemies with higher rank than you) and rank up faster.
For example: If you kill 7 enemies that rank 2 level above, you get 7*15=105 RP (instead of 70 RP, that is 35 RP extra ! ).
Overall, that's a good thing !
The good thing is if you help your team mate killing higher level players, you get assist for that, which give extra points.

How I read it - you have two part of RP.
One - number of kills multiplied by fixed number depending on the enemy level.
Two - bonus points per kills depending on your placement.
E.g. if I kill 4 ppl in the same level as I = 4*10 = 40 RP. Then if I place 2nd or 3rd my 4 KP are then multiplied by 10 = 40 more points. So for 4 KP 2nd/3rd place, I would get in total 80 RP.
Yet again the text seems confusing, max RP of 175 just makes no sense e.g. if I kill 7 3 tier higher ppl in a game I should get 7*20 right from the kill bonus, then depending on placement if I place 1st I should get additional 7*15 -> 140 + 105 = that's already 245... how can 175 be max is not clear either or at some point with Max Kp you can't be bothered to play for placement and just die and go to the next game to save time...again that would be an awesome addition to the gameplay and community! @EshshshssI think I've finally figured it out. That max kp 7 bothered me too because it didn't make sense considering what was written below "9kp".
It took me a while but I understand now.
Ok so here it goes: in the new season they moved away from multipliers and instead changed it to addition. Kp is unlimited.Max RP you can get from KP is 175.
Max RP you can get from placement is 100.
Max RP you can get from a win with full kp is 275 (this is without subtracting the entry penalty).
For a win in diamond with full kp the calculation would be this assuming you only get kills/assists on diamond players: 10x7(your kp)+ 15x7( 15 is the bonus RP you get for KP and it is tied to placement)+ 100 (this is the flat RP reward that you get from placement)- 48 (diamond entry)= 227 RP
The higher your placement is the less KP you need to get in order to max your KP RP to 175. And those are my calculation:
Full kp for a win is 7
Full kp for a second place is 9
Full kp for 3rd place is still 9
Full kp for 4th place is 12
Full kp for 5th place still 12
Full kp for 6th-10th place is 15
They have said they changed max kp from 6 to 7 but in fact they were referring only for the kp you need for max RP if you win. It's really confusing. But I think I'm 99% right.
