She could use some mild work. Her ult would be more effective if it dropped faster and was not as predictable. It can slow my friends and I down, but not much. Speeding up it’s drop how ever would make it less effective as a weapon to buy time for escapes. If you’re buying time with them, the longer the ult takes to finish the longer an enemy will have to sit outside of it.
There are better escape artist (wraith and path) but both take a lot of practice. Path requires a lot of practice with his grapple. Wraith requires advanced movement in fights.
Gibi is fairly balanced IMO and not a terrible choice for beginners either. He’s a tank and has some really solid team play abilities. His ult is also easier to use effectively.
I don’t see caustic as being balanced. He takes some skill to use. His abilities are also only useful in certain camping situations. They also still negatively impact the team by blinding them. So it takes some skill to learn how to use traps and his ult. You have to know where to place them where they will be effective without gassing your mates.

Agree on Bangalore.
Wraith, mirage, loba, caustic, bloodhound, revenant and Gibraltar are all fine. I fine playing with any of them and don't have a problem facing any of them played properly.
Wattson need a slight buff to the fence and/ultimate. Fence longer stun. Ultimate faster recharge and don't effect friendly nads from squadmates only. And immune to other wattons fences. Much like caustic.
I don't play pathfinder usually. But the last nerf was too much. It kind of he lost who he is.
Octane needs a buff.
Lifeline needs a buff.
Crypto not a buff. But more of a change to the passive.
Either make it that they see the other players at all times. Or they dont see them at all as they are not probably equipped and relay on the player ping.
For the change. I think it should he like this. If the drone is stationary. It should have 1.5 or 2.0 the scan range. Lower the volume on its noise and less of the red glow.
And if the enemy legend is out the the 30 meters range (1.0) they wont get the sonar detected massage immediately for let's say 5 - 10 seconds. If they stay longer than that they gets it.
- hayhor6 years agoHero@DarthValtrex Caustics abilities are not only useful in camping situations. A decent caustic knows how to use his barrels and ulti for many things.
Need to revive a teammate? Drop a couple barrels, shoot them or drop your ulti and no one comes near, even in the open.
A wattson has a building completely fenced? How do you push it? Chuck your barrels thru a door or window. The gas eats the fences.
I've used his barrels and ulti in the open so many times to push other teams.
The only thing he lacks is a quick get out of action move but I've learned to use his abilities for that too.- 6 years ago
@hayhor I think people forget that a triggered caustic trap makes for an impenetrable shield too, I use this pretty often in CQC for improv shotgun peaking spots, obviously the cover is kinda limited but it does work.
- hayhor6 years agoHero@MandatoryIDtag Yep, I had a match on WE where my team was on the lone tower outside train yard and it was clear the game was gonna end near it. I setup 3 barrels to duck behind for cover.
- 6 years ago@hayhor Gas in the open when in a fight usually means reviving or healing. My response? Ordnance rain. First a well thrown arc star followed by a few more or a grenade xD
