Who Should I Main?
I've been maining Bloodhound and Mirage. I've won more game as Bloodhound and have more kills in total. I feel like I'm not playing Bloodhound right because I'm dying a lot and not getting many kills...

why do you need main?
I am playing with at least 5 legends. Game feels less repetitive, nobody can block your legend and you improve your skill by learning more legends = their weak and strong sides.

Yeah. I personally never got the "main" thing. I see it here and I've seen it in OverWatch. You have all these options and you just want to pick one? Does only one character really resonate with you out of a dozen or more (depending on the game)? I just never got that.
I mean, I will say there is probably a more logical and statistical reason why you should keep your character pool small, especially in a game like OverWatch. More time you spend on more characters, the less you're able to "git gud" at one particular playstyle or kit.
Basically, if you split 100 hrs of game time between 2 legends. That's 50 hrs you're learning their abilities, and how to behave in every situation and all that. But, if you take that same 100 hrs and spilt it 10 ways, you don't have as much time and practice invested in each character, which means you probably wouldnt be as good with them, specifically, in that case.
But, I will say that stuff only matters if you're uber competitive. You know, that whole "play the meta weapons, legends, strats" kind of thing. And, there's nothing wrong with that. I can understand wanting to be that player. But, for most of us, I think having fun (even if we aren't always "the best of the best") means more.
In short, my point to the OP is play who you like. And if you can always be effective with them, then bonus points to you. Also, it doesn't hurt to branch out a little and try new things. So, I say just pick someone up and give them a go, you might be surprised in what you find.
