who's a better recon legend for scanning, bloodhound or crypto?
for ranked and public matches.

- @soccerking122 A really good crypto provides more to a team but good luck finding that.
i think there are too many variables that affect a good bloodhound or crypto
sometimes blood will miss their scan
sometimes crypto drone NEVER gets shot at lol
if youre a crypto, you need aim because when your drone is down, you are just a meat bag with a gun
bloodhound will never lose his ability to scan unless on cooldown
having an octane paired with B/C is always the best in my opinion

crypto offers more than just scans - @soccerking122 A good Crypto paired up with a squad who are on his wavelength any day of the week.
Bloodhound is definitely easier to use.
The thing is, Crypto can pick up players banners, respawn, he can do beacons with his drone so you can have that more subtle approach to games where as when you are a BH you have to do all of this manually.
Long story short...
If you can find a tanked Crypto then Crypto it is all day... if not Bloodhound 🙂 - @rockyboy1998 They need to give Path a way to scan enemies. He's the only recon legend that can't detect enemies now.
- @Lord_Scorpion34 He moved from a support legend to a recon legend just because they needed him to be able to carry on scanning beacons.
He just needs to be given a re-work IMO, he needs that little extra given to him in order to make him as good as he once was! For strategic play crypto, for aggressive play bloodhound.
Like hayhor said though good luck finding a good crypto.....I had a nosey the other day and i'm in the top 4.4% of cryptos for playstation lol.....and I hardly play him. So that should give you some perspective of how easy it is to find a good crypto. XD
So for the sake of argument let's just say bloodhound.
Crypto's ultimate is good against defensive legends like Caustic and Wattson but people hardly play them anymore (except for me). If knowing where the enemy is your top priority then BH is better in my opinion. Crypto is only viable if you have friends or have randoms that communicate with a mic so that you can use your ultimate while they push the enemies.
Bloodhound, to me without question.
Crypto is a lot of fun, but to have to stand still to scan is a big, big weakness. Of course, this is supposed to be outweighted by his ability to fly his drone around, and do things like pick up boxes or whatever. Not enough, imo.
To be able to scan and remain combat capable is everything. Aside from scan too, Bloodhound's ultimate I think is better.
Bloodhound is just a better character than Crypto all around, the way it is now.
