I will be using a PK or a Hemlock and after firing just one round or two max it will automatically start reloading and often gets me killed during gunfights, is there any fix to this? I see this question has been asked a few times before and EA has never provided a solution to it.
EA Staff (Retired)@bxllrxshnzI went through the first FOUR seasons of this game shooting a single bullet (firing intentionally) and then executing a melee (very unintentionally). I'm so slow that it took me that long to realize that I clench when I shoot and I was pushing in my thumbstick when I didn't even know I was doing it. Thankfully this game lets you re-map your controller.
Just figure out which button is your reload button, then swap it for something that won't actually happen when firing.
Since switching to a PS5 controller, I have had to deal with opening my map like ALL the time when I'm reloading in intense fights. I've gotten really good muscle memory for tapping the touchpad again now when that happens!
