Why do I get so many spanish speakers in NY servers?

The closest Spanish speaking country is thousands of miles from me. About 50% of my games have someone who only speaks spanish. How is this possible? How far away are they matchmaking people? Doesn't...

@CmdrZander89  You have spanish speaking people in the USA yes? Quite a large population of folk who do i believe.

But i mean hey what do i know? Iive on a completely different continent. XD

You're right, we do, but mostly in the south-western US. Definitely not enough spanish speakers in the north-east to have a large number of spanish speaking teammates all the time.

    @CmdrZander89 Aren’t there a lot of portugese speaking people living in NY(C)? Yes I know it’s not the same but might be a reason why + maybe you just play at the times they come on :P
