Why does the strongest legend have an invincible finisher?

Seriously, why does wraith teleport finisher allow her to be invincible through out the finishing process? You can't shoot her and you can't punch her while she is doing her teleport finisher. Sort o...

@IAmTheMeddler wouldn't this allow for the user to avoid ring damage much longer if their teleports were in sync with the ring damage cycle

It's not impossible to hit someone using the finisher but it's definitely harder, at least you only have to hit them the one time to cancel it.
