why doesn't my bunny hop work?
For some reason I can't bunny hop. I've seen lots of YouTube videos on how to do it, but when I attempt to bunny hop I get staggered. I run, slide while holding crouch button in hold not toggle, and once I hit the floor and attempt to jump for the second time but I get staggered and it doesn't let me jump. It's like I hit an invisible barrier above my head. But when I ask everyone about if they could do it, they always say they can bunny hop. I haven't found anyone else with this issue.
My first guess would be that the much higher frame rate is causing your difficulty. Bunny hop, like several other movement techs in Apex is sensitive to timing with regard to frames. I'm interested to help but I only have experience on console myself.
I'm assuming you are using controller on PC? Could you try capping your frames at 60 and see what happens?
