Why dose a punch do more damage than a bullet.....Very triggered!!!!

Short answer, basically every gun has a higher dps than punching, which is why base melee dog output is where it's at.

Better to avoid situations where possible that will result in you getting mobbed by a trio of fists, I find using free look on drop to be a great tool for this.
