- @Cro_Pittt I’ll tell you, I disliked and almost never used the Ranger sight (3x HCOG) before S5 or 6. Maybe in total less than 10 times (out of 1000’s of games xD).
On the Midnight train to Georgia Train Express I had to play with it on the G7 which I also hated and I found both quite good but basically left it at that. If I had to pick up the G7 I tried the Ranger sight and still murdered.
In S5 or 6 (I think S6 but dont know for sure) I had the Spitfire and accidentally picked up the ranger but just left it on there. Wow... how effective the spitfire became at 50-75m range was ridiculous. So it became my go-to for spitfire, even more than the Bruiser.
Next I tried it on Flatline and R301... jeez... now if I find that sight it auto goes on one of those 3 guns or on the Devotion. If I have a bruiser, great compromise as the bruiser goes on my secondary... Only AR where it doesn’t get on is the HAVOC
The 2-4x holo still sucks imo but I can work with it... the 1-2x sucks and I rather not use it and the 1... hmmm... only in early game if I have no scope. @Koochi-Q 2-4x is definitely a DMR sight. I'll only ever use it on the longbow/triple take. Same goes for the 3x.
For AR's its generally the 1-2× on the flatline/r3 and the bruiser on the other 2.
Higher magnification just feels weird on AR's...you can clearly see far enough for their effective range so it just makes no sense to me lol.
- DarthValtrex5 years agoHero (Retired)@hayhor No I request it when I play. But I can make just about any scope work, I'm just better with certain scopes.
- @DarthValtrex Yeah most are. I have a friend that needs certain scopes on certain guns and usually backs it up so I give him what he wants and I use the ones deemed crap by some.
