Why is season 3 so long a whole year

@Rahz_VIISorry, some of us have full time jobs, families, schools, life, and hobbies. Being a poor sap that has a mortgage and a life, I unfortunately can only play 5-10 hours a week. I appreciate the length of each season, actually wish they were longer. I'm going out of town for business and will only get to experience the Halloween event for two nights.
I wish I was fortunate enough to benefit from having little to zero real world responsibilities so I could play more.
- @DankToliet Well sorry for not considering another people apart from my self but if the season is long without any updates it gets boring and I play other games instead
@Rahz_VII we're apparently getting more updates later in the season if that's any help lol.
