Why is there no M&K support for consoles?

Would You consider adding this feature to the new console generation. I can't really play such a great game on the console with a controller. It is meant to be played with M&K. It is relatively easy to implement. What's the reason not to?

    I suppose to be fair it should be allowed on console too natively.

    You can play Warzone on console and allows plugging in keyboard and mouse to support natively. 

    Funny thing about Apex on PC - You can use controller and mouse during mid game without locking you in when the round starts. It switches when you move/button press one or the other mid game.

    i.e. Use Mouse for long distance aiming/escape movement...Then grab the controller for close range. They call it Hybrid players, look it up on YouTube.

    @SamuelBennettX It would seem to show a bias towards the consoles and console controllers, wouldn't it? I mean, you can play with a console controller on PC but not a mouse and keyboard on console. So what's that all about?

    @SamuelBennettX I know sorry couldn't help it lol, anyway yeah they could do it, but you would go against controller players who have a strong aa (0.6). People are already debating controller vs m&k on PC where the aa is lower, i think it would be a bad situation for m&k players on console.

    It's about the choice. Imagine playing all your life with M&K and then switching to controller - that would be frustrating. And nothing really stops you from disabling the cross-platform button.
