All of your squad get to spectate the same squad, so that being the squad that killed your last surviving teammate makes perfect sense. It would be weird otherwise. I don't know what other games you're talking, but it's the same in pubg at least (it does have a killcam on top of that, this game doesn't).

For me it makes no sense at all. I'm 100% sure, that in every game ever made, the killcams and spectating the people that killed you is only there for locating suspicious play(hackers).
So it makes no sense at all if you cant watch the guy that killed you. There is no point to spectate anyone else, other than the guy that killed you.
Actually, its so serious that I believe that its made to cover up suspicious plays, so people cant have the full picture about hacking.
Spectating is not for watching the match, its for locating cheaters. In all games.
No battle royal works that way but you sound like a flat earthier
I agree.. If I don't die last (in my squad) I'll get to spectate the guy that kills the last member of my team (regardless if the killer is from another team or not) which is utter BS
