@NACHONOV0 while yes, that does make sense, consider this:
Apex when it first released had hit 50 million players within the first month of release, and quickly dwindled to 1 million concurrent players shortly after. Multiple posts here on the boards and on Reddit all quote lack of content initially, but overtime criticized the slow development (not just with content but also with important bug fixes. Audio hasn't worked properly since the game came out, Season 3's introduction of World's Edge exacerbated that issue, and every season we see the same "patched" bugs return to the game, while waiting entire seasons for supposed fixes).
While yes it's important to continue to grow your player population, focusing solely on that I believe was the nail in the coffin for many long-time players who've not only supported, but also waited for fixes for long standing issues due to their seasonal update schedule. A lot of Redditors frequently meme about how ineffective and slow the development has been, and I think focusing on that would've been more beneficial in the long run to re-attract players who love Apex but grew disenchanted with how poorly it functioned overall.
I might be the only person on the planet that actually likes the TTK being lowered. I’m for anything that speeds up the game, gunfights and engagements. I want apex to encourage aggressive play as much as possible. As much as I love Apex I always felt that the TTK was a bit too long.
There are a ton of other problems plaguing the game right now but the TTK in my opinion isn’t one of them.
- 6 years ago@fg1985bg apex isnt as fast-paced as you're making it out to be the game is filled with campers, so i sorta guess where you're coming from, you're liking on this new TTK if you're more of a pusher you'd probably hate it a bit more rather then if you're a wattson/caustic main (not saying that all wattson/caustic mains are campers)

TTK is fine.
Main problem now is the servers.
If go back to original TTK might as well delete sniper rifles from the game.
- 6 years ago@OctobberOctane I also do miss the long fights from before S6...But I feel right the opposite way. I'm playing way more aggressive in S6 than in S5. And its working out! 🙂 Maybe i am just one of the unskilled players profiting from S6..who knows haha 🙂
P.S.: I have been happy with my 60 wins ins S5. How many Wins do you Guys have had in the last Seasons? I'm curious to know where I am standing skillwise right now. 🙂- hayhor6 years agoHero@blackoutzzz42 Season 4 I was around 130. Season 5 with more ranked and less play overall like 105. Season 6 is off to a hot start for me. Almost 30 in 2 weeks.

I prefer playing a more aggressive pushing style so yea I do prefer the TTK being lowered. The game in general has become slower as far as I’m concerned simply because of the player base. People play so conservative and for me it ruined the experience. It seems like you can’t get through one match anymore without having a team camped out forever with gas and so on.
The one thing that drew me into apex was the fast paced nature of the game. The movement and gunfights were second to none. As time has gone on the game has become campier and campier. Lowering the TTK speeds engagements up a bit but at the end of the day the meta is leaning towards people camping out in buildings and setting up shop

Honestly the combo lower ttk-buffed snipers is what makes me mad the most(after audio and servers). Now in every single lobby everybody has a sniper and it's a nightmare if you have to rotate. I can't remember how many times i got shot by 2 or even 3 snipers at the same time. Add the lower ttk and a low profile legend( i'm a wraith main) and you're done. Now the game it's just move-get shot-hide-heal-repeat. So reverse ttk or nerf snipers or even increase heal stacks would be better imho, playing like this is extremely frustrating to me.
