It's a fact, I can prove it with the millions of clips I've saved to my HDD of laser beam, zero recoil, mouse/keyboard movements. It's just a crying shame that no one is happy to acknowledge the problem, or even allow us a way to report people.
I even have a spectator video of someone inputting a "code" to change which gun their anti-recoil is assigned to - and yet, nowhere to send it.
The game is absolutely rammed full of cheaters on console now.

While I will agree that there are many KBM players (specifically in Diamond/Masters/Pred) it is NOT 80% of the community.
The majority of the player base on console are actually controller players. If I had to wager a percentage, I would say about 90% of the players on PS4 and Xbox are controller players.
Your point stands though— KBM on console needs to go.- 6 years ago@Axs5626Sxa5001 I should clarify; 80% of people I get killed by are on KBM. Perhaps not the population, but it is in every game lobby I play in nonetheless, and I play the game a lot.
And there are both logical and mathematical explanations for this:
Logic: I play with my partner who isn't as seasoned in FPS gaming, so we play very quietly when we're online together, survivalists if you like. The opposite of aggressive players, relying more on good old fashioned surprise tactics and effective flanking, and a lot of luck! So, as the players get knocked out of the match, the probability of encountering an "elite player/cheater" increases, logically. In the top 5, you can almost guarantee at least one team will be cheating due to their pure advantage over the rest of the lobby in reaching the latter stages of most matches. I then get killed in the top 5, spectate my killer, only to find that he has the complete absence of recoil on his guns, and the movement of a mouse user.
Mathematical: Let's say 1 in 60 active players use mods on console now (which they obviously do, based on the many available threads, videos, streams, forum posts, sales, tutorials, Tweets, bans, etc). This means that every lobby will have a probability of at least one modder per lobby. More, due to the fact that they tend to stick together and mod together, so that makes three modders per lobby, at a minimum. Again, as the game ticks on into the later stages, let's say I've survived until the final 3.. I'm suddenly against a of modders (usually two, because they really are everywhere and are blatantly obvious to spot) so again, I will die to them, and spectate their gameplay only to predictably find a complete absence of recoil on any gun (usually the Havoc and R99 for obvious reasons).
This is a perpetual cycle and I experience it daily, without fail. I save video clips on my HDD of it happening for the rare possibility of being actually able to do something about it one of these days.
I think for some people, seeing the gravity of the issue is impossible due to not meeting the criteria of:
SBMM putting them in lobbies with "players of a certain skill level", combined also with making it to the late stages of most games. It's easy to die immediately and spectate your killer to find someone shooting and playing normally. I could do that too, and I'd be ignorant of it too. The issue is that, beyond a certain skill level, you get matched with these knuckleheads in every match, and if you survive long enough on average, you'll see them ALL the time. And I really mean all the time.- hayhor6 years agoHero@littlxr I'd love to see your clips. Can't you report them in game?
I play this game a ton and about half my games end up top 5 with 10% overall as wins. I do not share what you believe tho. There are moments I get killed by crazy stuff and suspect something fishy but it is more like 10% of the time max.
You've mentioned the havoc a few times. It barely has any recoil at all. It goes straight up and with the headshot multiplier fries people quite easily. You dont need a recoil macro for it. Watch Itempz or backoffmyjankz to see how easily they control it.
- 5 years ago@Axs5626Sxa5001 They need to make it like war zone where it’s not by which console but who has keyboard and mouse. It’s a simple fix

I honestly wish i could play kb&m on console with apex every game i play i use keyboard and mouse and i'm terrible with controller so it's not really fun for me and i love apex

@littlxrIt depends on the game, Apex does not have the greatest controller adjustment settings to use mouse and keyboards. I have seen at least 3 people come onto the forum asking why they are doing so bad on console. I'll help them out and find out they are using mouse and keyboard. They switch over to control and reset their settings it's a world of difference.
Other games that I won't name have settings that allow for players to use a XIM and MK set up fairly easily/effectively.
@hayhor I have seen a handful of legit cheaters, when I say handful I mean maybe 3-4 max and I've played thousands of rounds, if not tens of thousands. I'm sure I've bumped into more and did not realize it. But the 3 times that stand out to me were.. 1. the guy had a fully auto Hemlock. 2. the player was using a Wingman but the fire rate and sound it made was weird. I thought it was an audio glitch of some sort, but my friend had the same experience with him. We proceed to watch him and he was unstoppable.
The third was fishy, I suspected the player was using a strike pack so I message him and asked if he was cheating. He said no, I said it sure looked like to which he told me he was using a strike pack.. When I informed him that using third party software was cheating, he went a profanity laced rant..- hayhor6 years agoHero@DarthValtrex I agree with you. When I said 10% max I was trying to be nice. This is why I want to see the video evidence.
@Vilefox Put the vids on youtube and give me a link to your channel and I'll check them out. - 5 years ago
Technically 3rd party software is only cheating when it messes with the games coding software. Strike packs, and xim, chronic zen etc are not cheats. It’s 3rd party hardware/software that doesn’t interfere with the games coding so therefore in a legal sense it’s not cheating and it doesn’t break the games terms of service. They can’t ban you for buying a legal product that only messes with the controller software/hardware that they don’t own. And Microsoft knows about it and doesn’t ban it or make it obsolete to use on their controllers so therefore it is a viable means of playing. There’s a logical and legal allowance when it comes to using these things. Now morally it might not be the best thing but it’s allowed so it’s also not morally wrong to use it either. And as long as the developer of the controllers hasn’t banned them or taken legal action against the developers of these things then it’s not really cheating.

Strikepacks are all good and fun until they use the dirty mods. like imagine taking advantage of the no report feature
